ACTIVATED CARBON FOR MERCURY COMPLIANCE
For some activated carbon producers mercury control is one of many market initiatives… for ADA Carbon Solutions, it is our core strategic focus. From 2008 – 2010 ADA Carbon Solutions designed and built the largest, most automated and most environmentally friendly activated carbon plant focused on products that are optimized for compliance applications and mercury capture in North America. In addition, we developed our own dedicated raw material, the Five Forks Mine, located in close proximity to our plant.
ADA Carbon Solutions today has established itself as a leading provider of activated carbon products optimized for performance in emission control applications. Our extensive research and development and continued expertise in mercury control provide our customers a greater degree of confidence and peace of mind as they develop their compliance strategies. We do that by providing industry leading expertise in the challenge of mercury removal from flue gas stream, and by providing our solutions at a level of reliability expected and needed by our customers.

“During last year’s polar vortex, demand for our units skyrocketed. This resulted in us consuming 4 times the normal amount of PAC over a several week period. Fortunately, ADA Carbon Solutions had the supply chain network in place to respond. They did not miss a shipment, despite our dramatic increase in demand, and we were able to remain on-line without interruption.”
“I would be interested in having ADA-CS come to our plant and give a presentation to my management and technical staff on your Carbon products. As carbon is part of our compliance plan, it could help them understand the variables of utilizing carbon for mercury removal.”
“I really enjoyed meeting you and all the other folks at ADA-CS... a first rate organization for certain! I look forward to working with you all in the future!”
“In recent full-scale field demonstrations the ADA-CS FastPAC product line has repeatedly been one of the top performing commercial products tested. ADA-CS's activated carbon product has shown high mercury capture performance levels that result in a significant reduction in the total amount of product required to achieve compliance targets.”
“We have used ADA Carbon Solutions' Generation 2 and 3 products (FASTPAC™ and Development products) at several test sites and found both the company and the products to be easy to work with and the results superior.”
“We have trialed several competitive products, and found that ADA Carbon Solutions stands out in terms of customer service, responsiveness and technical support for our needs.”
